Storytelling with Purpose
As the Writer, Director, Editor, and Executive Producer of Before Closing My Eyes, I brought to life a deeply moving narrative set in the hauntingly beautiful desert of Mineral de Pozos, Mexico. The film explores the emotional journey of a father tormented by the memory of his missing daughter, aiming to bring awareness to the pervasive issue of disappearances in Mexico. This project wasn’t just a film—it was a call for social change.

Global Recognition
The film’s powerful message resonated with audiences worldwide, earning official selections at the Global Film Festival 2018—the largest in the Caribbean—along with the Dominican Film Festival in New York and the New York Lift-Off Festival the same year. Through this work, I aimed to use the universal language of cinema to inspire empathy, dialogue, and action on a critical issue.
